I'm not really certain if you are aware of the rules here at deviantArt, but I feel as though I should inform you of one, to prevent you from getting into any major trouble.
You see, here on deviantArt, deviants are expected to upload work in which they themselves did--not work they found on the internet that they really liked and wanted to share. A site for doing that would be something like Photobucket. DeviantArt is a place for your own work, and that alone (whether it be writing, art, animations, or photography).
You might be asking yourself why I'm telling you this?? Well, just recently, there was a problem here on dA where the original artists and their families found art posted on someone's dA site that they had done. They reported the deviant for "art theft" and "copyright violation", and demanded the work be removed immediately. As a published author, I know about the laws of copyright, and you can be sued for up to $250,000 if the original artist discovers their work on your count.
I'm sorry if I scared you or anything, but it's the truth. I just want you to be safe here and not have any of that happen to you, like it has many in the past. Other consequences may be you being banned, and not allowed back on the site. Or, like I said, being fined, etc.
I think it's best if you remove all artwork in which you haven't done yourself (this means even if you've edited the work of someone else) before this gets too serious.
I'd hate to see you get into huge trouble with the copyright group here on dA that goes around and inspects.
So, please remove all artwork in which you haven't done, so that you have a fun and safe experience here on dA.
